The New Year
I realize that it has been a while since my last post. Of course, I can make all the holiday excuses that everyone makes, and there is some truth to that, but in the end, other things have occupied my time.
The release of my book, Life's too Short to Be an Underdog, has been a neat holiday event for me. There is something exceptionally cool about seeing a book with your name on the front of it. I have sold about 75 copies thus far (look out Max Lucado, there is a new writer cutting into your sales).
I don't forsee it being a big seller, but I would love to break even on my investment into the publishing. Of course, I have no idea how it will do. It may never break 100 and it might just become this word-of-mouth phenomena that sweeps the nation, lands me on the bestseller list with a spot on The Late Show with David Lettermen. All things considered, I'd put money on the former.
Anyway, looking forward to resuming my Blog, all three of you who read it ... thanks! Hope the break hasn't cost me your loyalty and readership.
